Ajrakh is a vibrant block printing tradition practised in the Kutch region of Gujarat. It is believed to be one of the most ancient forms of printing, possibly dating back to the Indus Valley/Harappan Civilization over 4,000 years ago. The double-sided block-printed Ajrakh fabric is still created in the traditional manner, utilizing natural dyes.
