The fabric softens with each wash, becoming more supple and comfortable over time. The Bagru printing method, utilizing hand-carved wooden blocks dipped in natural dyes created using locally found natural ingredients, is employed to create the traditional hand block print on this fabric. The Bagru printing process is centuries old and is practiced in a village near Jaipur. It employs an array of materials like over-ripened pomegranates, wheat residues, and turmeric to create colors in this iconic print. Bagru printing celebrates sustainable and conscious processes at every stage of printing.

Our slub cotton fabric is unique, and you may notice slight "lumps" or "imperfections" deliberately created by knotting or twisting the fabric as it is woven or spun. Care Instructions : Handwash separately in cold water using mild detergent. Line dry in shade. Do not bleach.
