Ikat is one of India's most renowned weaves, with the earliest visual references dating back 1200 to 1600 years in the murals of the famous Ajanta caves. What sets ikat apart as a unique weave is the meticulous process of tying and dyeing threads in both the warp and weft multiple times to create diverse patterns before weaving.

Care Instructions: Handwash separately in cold water using mild detergent. Line dry in the shade or simply dry clean. Do not bleach.

The distinctive feature of PeepulTree clothing is the involvement of hand processes at every stage of the making. There may be tinting on skin and/or lighter shade garments being paired together due to the dyeing processes used. The excess dye gets washed out in the first 2-3 washes
