description
This hand-crafted stole is dyed using natural pigments extracted from the bark of Sappan-wood, printed with rose petals, and finely decorated with potli finish on the edges. Eco-dyeing or Eco-printing is a form of natural dyeing where the colours from parts of the plant are transferred to another object such as paper or fabric via steaming or boiling. These handmade eco-dyed stoles, have been made by Mulya, which has helped keep an age-old tradition of art and craft alive by empowering the women artisans of Uttarakhand, who have crafted this piece. Now you can choose from a wonderful collection of eco-dyed stoles on PeepulTree, to complement your attire of choice.
