This piece is sourced from Studio Coppre, a Pune based organisation working to revive the dying traditional Copper Craft form of Maharashtra.

Care Instructions: Your container needs daily care to prevent the oxidation process of copper. Wash with a soft cloth and Pitambari or lime & salt or vinegar & salt or tamarind. Wipe dry immediately or else water residues will leave stains. Some waters cause dark spots on copper. To remove, apply tamarind or vinegar or lime concentrate and leave for 15 minutes. Wash off with clean water. To clean the wooden components of your product, wipe with a soft dry cloth. Never use detergents or cleaning solutions on the wooden components.
