Exploring Archaeological Sites of India Through Satellite Imagery

In this session, archaeologist M B Rajani, who is doing some pioneering work using Geo Satellite Imagery, gives us a bird’s eye view of some of India’s best known sites, quite literally. In doing so, she reveals hidden details and the true extent of these sites.

Rajani takes us through her work on sites like Nalanda, Agra, Srirangapatna, and Mamallapuram, allowing us to see them in an all-new light!

M B Rajani is an Associate Professor at the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS), Bengaluru.
