Description
Creating a beautiful play of light, this semi-sheer cotton window curtain (5 & 7 ft) is handwoven in Banaras by weavers using the unique missing weave technique by clipping the extra floating threads which are not engaged in design formation and lying loose in the back side of the fabric. It is a version of the highly labour intensive ‘Karhuwa’ technique. This gives the curtain a semi-sheer finish as light comes through the cutwork.
Available as a single piece or as a set of 2 these premium handmade cutwork window curtains are handcrafted from cotton making them unique and durable. They are also 100% colorfast and easy to maintain.

Material: Pure Cotton
Care Instruction: Hand wash separately in mild detergent. Line dry in the shade. Cotton may shrink after the first wash. We therefore recommend that the product be professionally dry cleaned. Do not bleach.
