The art form you see here is called Lippan and this piece is inspired by the houses that you will come across as you drive through the white desert of Kutch, in Gujarat, India. Local communities here use a combination of mud and mirrors to decorate their houses. 

At Peepul Tree we work with local Kutch artisans to take this traditional art form and give it a contemporary flourish, so that you can enjoy it in your home. 

This piece also makes a wonderful and unique gift.
