Marble inlay, locally referred to as "Parchin Kari," is believed to have journeyed through Venice and Persia before arriving at the Mughal court. The Mughals had a profound appreciation for this embellishment style, and you can witness it adorning their monuments in Agra, Delhi, and Lahore.
